Come and live Francophonie with us!
Every year, the Francophonie Festival proposes events and entertainments for all ages and tastes. They are as many opportunities to discover the unique charm of the French language and the long history of the french-speaking world culture. These cultural exchanges bridge our cultural differences, foster mutual understanding and weave some unique bounds between our countries.
This year, the Francophonie Month is sponsored by Ayanga, a young Chinese actor and musician, and will focus on folk tales. Ayanga states that the narrating act implies exchange and transmission, thus enabling our cultures to get to a better understanding and creates friendship.
In partnership with the Alliance française network in China, Alliance française Hangzhou elaborated an exciting program for you to enjoy: train to read aloud, communicate with your own words, let yourself be lulled by the charm of the French melodic tones and share the colourful world of sounds.
You will also laugh your way with our performances, chat with the artists, enroll in our competitions and discover our exhibitions: an exceptional month of March for all French language and cultural exchange lovers!

Tongue-twisters
March 5th-19th
A playful activity consisting in creating a sentence uneasy to pronounce called a Tongue-twister. Come and challenge your pronunciation skills while giving free reins to your imagination!
Lecture-show
Misspelled words Fault
March 2nd, 3rd, 5th
A pop and iconoclastic online lecture and stage show about Spelling, an "existential question" for French speaking people: Arnaud Hoedt et Jérôme Piron will answer you humourously.
Competition
Read-aloud Poetry
March 8th-31st
We invite you to challenge your read aloud talents and discover the charms of French poetry through a competition consisting in reading and setting to Music French poems!
Encounter Tianyou Zheng
March 20th
Belgian illustrator and storyboarder of animated films and TV series, Tianyou will share his talent with you and will initiate you to the fairy world of cartoons. Get your pencils ready!
Exhibition Women scientists
March 8th-31st
A nice tribute to Chinese and Francophone Women scientists, this exhibition presents the exploits of past and present women that changed the world with their scientific discoveries!
Encounter Yohan Radomski
March 27th
Cartoon scriptwriter living in China, Yohan creates stories for adults and children and also publishes in France the works of Chinese authors. Join us to get to know his amazing career!

for Kids
March 21th
A workshop facilitated by Cartooner Tianyou during which children will have a lot of fun trying to create and give life to their own cartoon characters. A fine workshop where children's parents are also welcome!
